Granted by the Board of Directors to an individual who is deemed to deserve special recognition because of his or her extraordinary dedication to seniors and longstanding contributions to the Association.

Nomination Process

Nominations are reviewed annually by the Board and recipients are recognized at the Annual General Meeting and Convention. Honourary members receive lifetime membership in AdvantAge Ontario.

Karine Taillefer is the Manager of Program Evolution at the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (Cyber Centre). She is responsible for enabling the programs strategic direction and growth to meet the needs of Canada and Canadians.

Karine held previous leadership roles at the Cyber Centre. Most recently, Karine managed the design and development of cyber security learning solutions, within the Cyber Centre Learning Hub, focused on reducing Canada’s cyber security performance gaps.
