Join us for an informative session focused on the selection and application of seated slings. In this one-hour free webinar, participants will learn about the two main types of seated slings, how fabric and leg strap choices impact positioning, and how to ensure proper fit and safety for each resident. Dynamic positioning and options beyond traditional seated slings will also be explored.
This webinar is ideal for those new to seated sling application or those who are looking to refresh their knowledge.
By the end of this session, participants will:
• Learn about the two main types of seated slings and their proper application
• Review the three leg-strap configurations for these types of slings
• Explore the impact of proper loop selection and fabric choices
• Ensure proper sizing for seated slings and understand proper fit indicators
• Review clip slings and the advantages of dynamic positioning
• Discover considerations for amputees

Cancellations: Cancellations will be accepted up to five working days prior to the date of the program less a 15% administration fee that will apply regardless of the status of payment. Registrants who fail to attend the program or cancel after the deadline date shall be liable for the full fee. There is no charge for delegate substitutions. The AdvantAge Ontario Education Department reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this program.
